South African Prisoner Freed in Philippines For Winning $2-million in Sports Betting

A South African imprisoned in the Philippines for 12 years and had already served 4 years has been pardoned for winning $2-million in sports betting.

Though in prison, the government have had several huge taxes from Brighton for winning sports betting. Records show that he had won severally from $10,000 to $50,000.

The latest win of $2-million came as a shock as he predicted exact details in a single match.

Brighton predicted the outcome of the match between Sunderland and Everton in the English league. He predicted two yellow cards, one each, and three goals in favor of Everton FC.

He went on to predict that all three goals would be scored in the second half by Romelu Lukaku.

The match ended just as predicted.

Brighton was imprisoned for unarmed robbery and prison official says “he has repented and deserved to be pardoned”.
